DAY 1 Arrival in Bucharest - Urlati

Meet your guide. Transfer from Bucharest airport to Urlati.

Winetasting in Basilescu Wine Cellars.The character of the wines from Basilescu Winery withdraws its sap from the specific terroir offered by Dealu Mare and Pietroasa vineyards. Basilescu wines' secret: unique terroir and over 100 years old tradition.

Winetasting – 5 types wines Eclipse Selection Edition: Feteasca Alba 2014, Riesling Italian 2014, Roze – Burgund mare 2014, Fetească Neagră 2011, Busuioacă de Bohotin 2013 served with cheese, apples and black bread.
Overnight Urlati or Ploiesti.

DAY 2 Urlati - Sinaia - Azuga - Brasov

Visit Sinaia, the "Pearl of the Carpathians" with Peles Castle one of Romania's most beautiful palaces once the summer residence of the Romanian kings.

Wine Tasting Azuga Rhein Cellars
The wine cellars from Azuga were built in 1892, by the Rhein family, official supplier for the royal court. Sparkling wines and champagne type wines, produced after the traditional "champenoise" method. Program offered: tour of the cellar, presentation of the sparkling wine producing techniques following the traditional method and sparkling wine tasting (1 Rhein Extra type and 2 Prahova Valley) served with cheese and bread.

Tour continues to Bran village and visit of Dracula`s Castle which owes its fame to its imposing towers, narrow corridors in a mysterious labyrinth as well as to the legend created by Bram Stocker about Vlad The Impaler-Count Dracula.

In the evening short sightseeing of Brasov, known as Kronstadt in German language, the most visited medieval and mountain resort city in Transylvania due to its values: the old historical center with Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture very well preserved, great food and amazing scenery. Pedestrian tour of the old historical center including the fortifications and the old city walls, the bastions, White/Black Tower, the Black Church, Town Hall Square, The Rope Street (the narrowest street in Europe).

DAY 3 Brasov - Sighisoara - Sibiu

Breakfast at the hotel.

Drive to Sighisoara (UNESCO), the best preserved medieval citadel in Europe. Pedestrian sightseeing tour of the medieval citadel of Sighisoara. The tour will take you to the center of this old city certified first in 1191 and built on the site of a Roman fort. Here you will discover its Clock Tower, Weapon Museum – next to Vlad the Impaler’s birthplace, Covered Staircase, the Evangelic Church on the Hill.

In the evening, arrival in Sibiu known as Hermannstadt in German language, was the largest and wealthiest of the citadels built in the 12th century by German settlers known as Transylvanian Saxons. Due to its important cultural life, Sibiu was designated a European Capital of Culture for the year 2007. Sightseeing Sibiu including pedestrian old historical town (UNESCO) and the major highlights: The Large Square, The Small Square, The Huet Square, Defense Towers. City walls, The Bridge of Lies. Overnight Sibiu.

DAY 4 Sibiu - Dragasani - Bucuresti

Departure to Bucharest through Olt Valley where you will admire a spectacular landscape . On the way, winetasting at Stirbey Dragasani Cellar
Stirbey family of wines – all obtained from pure grape varieties, each of them reflecting its own individual personality, clearly distinguishable from each other, but together forming a family devoted to the terroir and traditions of Dragasani wine region.
It mainly produces high quality wines like Feteasca Alba, Sauvignon Blanc, high quality red wines like Cabernet Sauvignon and Burgund Mare, as well as flavoured wines like Tamaioasa Romaneasca.
Winetasting – 5 types wines : Feteasca Regala, Rose, Negru de Dragasani, Novac, Sparkling Wine Cramposie - all of them typical Romanian varieties "single grape" (except Rose - Cabernet Sauvignon) - served with cheese and black bread.

DAY 5 Bucharest

Sightseeing Bucharest including panoramic view of the most important buildings and squares: The Arch of Triumph (the same architecture of Arc de Triomphe in Paris), The Romanian Athenaeum (Bucharest's most prestigious concert hall and home of George Enescu Philharmonic), The former Royal Palace, Opera house; Squares: Victoriei, Romana, Revolution, Universitatii and Unirii. Visit of Parliament`s House, the world’s second-largest building in surface area (after the US Pentagon) and the third largest in volume.

In the afternoon, a pleasant walking of the old historical center The Old Princely Court including Lipscani District, with old buildings, pedestrian streets full of restaurants, bars, clubs, shops with antique or artistically handmade souvenirs products; Curtea Veche Church, the oldest church in Bucharest, located in Old Historical Center, preserves its original shape and grounds. Manuc's Inn (Hanul lui Manuc) in Old Historical Center is the oldest inn in Bucharest.

DAY 6 Bucharest

Bucharest transfer to airport. Farewell to the guide and home flight.
