DAY 1: Bucharest

Arrival Otopeni airport. Private transfer airport / hotel by coach and English speaking guide assistance.

Panoramic sightseeing Bucharest (included) including view of the most important buildings and squares: The Arch of Triumph (the same architecture of Arc de Triumph in Paris), The Romanian Athenaeum (Bucharest's most prestigious concert hall and home of George Enesco Philharmonic), The former Royal Palace, The Military Academy, Opera house; Squares: The Free Press House, Charles de Gaulle, Victoriei, Romana, Revolution, Universitatii and Unirii.

Optional visit of The Village Museum, outdoor museum, one of the main tourist attraction in Bucharest, showing a unique collection in Eastern Europe of old villages, peasant houses from all the regions in Romania, old furniture and tools. If weather doesn`t permit, the visit will be replace with The Romanian Peasant Museum, indoor museum showing collection of textiles, icons, ceramics and other artifacts of Romanian peasant life.

Optional visit of the Parliament`s House, the world’s second-largest building in surface area (after the US Pentagon) and the third largest in volume.

A pleasant walking of the old historical center The Old Princely Court including Lipscani District, with old buildings, pedestrian streets full of restaurants, bars, clubs, shops with antique or artistically handmade souvenirs products; Curtea Veche Church, the oldest church in Bucharest, located in Old Historical Center, preserves its original shape and grounds. Manuc's Inn (Hanul lui Manuc) in Old Historical Center is the oldest inn in Bucharest.

Optional dinner in “Caru cu Bere” Restaurant in Old Historical Center - the oldest beerhouse in Bucharest, a traditional place and impressive architectural building, where you can taste culinary recipes or drink homemade beer. Every evening (except Monday) there is show with folk Romanian dance & music. Overnight in Bucharest.

DAY 2: Bucharest. Breakfast in the hotel.

Option A - Alternative sightseeing tour of Bucharest at your choice:

1. On the steps of the communism: we invite you to discover places and stories about Bucharest under the communism.
Visit the key sites associated with the communist period in Bucharest and explore a period which deeply marked Romanian history and culture. Duration: 6 hours.

2. Street Food & Culture Tour in Bucharest: there is nothing more relaxing than having a walk through the heart of Romania's capital with a gourmet guide who knows all hidden deli-shops and food trucks around! There are many young entrepreneurs who started traditional food businesses at the beginning of the 2000's and we are here to guide you through their menus and fascinating stories. Duration 5 hours.

Option B Mogosoaia Palace, Snagov & Caldarusani Monasteries Tour

Visit 3 of the most representative sites: Mogosoaia Palace situated near Bucharest (10 km) in a splendid park on the Shore of Mogosoaia Lake. Mogoasoaia Palace was built in 1698 -1702 by Constantin Bracoveanu – a famous Romanian Voivode. The Palace is an architectural monument, having the façade dominated by traditional staircase balconies, and by the arcades and columns with capitals, specific to the “Brancovenesc” style. Snagov Monastery, its fame it is connected by Legend of Dracula, and Caldarusani Monastery which was constructed of bricks and of river stones, attracts the attention of the visitor by its uniqueness.

DAY 3: Bucharest - Sinaia Mountain resort - Bran Dracula Castle - Brasov

Breakfast in the hotel. Around 08:00 departure to Brasov through Prahova Valley along the Carpathian Mountains.

First stop in Sinaia mountain resort. Visit of Sinaia Monastery and Peles Castle former Royal Residence.

Tour continues to Bran village and visit of Dracula`s Castle which owes its fame to its imposing towers, narrow corridors in a mysterious labyrinth as well as to the legend created by Bram Stoker about Vlad The Impaler-Count Dracula.

Transfer to Brasov, known as Kronstadt in German language, is the most visited medieval and mountain resort city in Transylvania due to its values: the old historical center with Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture very well preserved, great food and amazing scenery. Pedestrian tour of the old historical center including the fortifications and the old city walls, the bastions, White/Black Tower, the Black Church, Town Hall Square, The Rope Street (the narrowest street in Europe).Overnight in Brasov.

DAY 4: Brasov - Bucharest

Breakfast. In the morning, a short walk in Poiana Brasov – the biggest mountain resort in Romania or cable car to Tampa peak to admire the panorama of the town. Departure to Bucharest, transfer to the airport for flight back home. End of the program.
