Classy Romania helped us see most of Transylvania in one week. They were very organised and took good care of us. They rented a car for us, booked the hotels in advance, gave us tips on what to visit and what to eat. They took into consideration our budget and made great suggestions. Our first stop was in Peles, were we saw the beautiful castle of Peles. It was a nice area with mountains surrounding it. We really enjoyed this place because it was peaceful. The next day, we drove to Rasnov, where we saw the citadel of Rasnov. It was very impressive because it’s built on a hill. I really enjoyed this citadel because there is a lot of history behind it and it is an ancient town. The walls surrounding the town are high and impressive to see. For me, it is an important place to visit because it is original and different than any other citadel. Then we went to Bran, where we saw the castle of Dracula.
Our trip followed with a beautiful mountain (I forgot the name :)) were people enjoyed the fresh air. There was an old church that really impressed me. It was small and made out of wood. I found it looked really elegant and the architecture went well with the mountain. We took the “Gondola” all the way up and had a drink at the top. The view was amazing. It was a great experience!
We also, visited the salt mine in Turda. It was deep into the ground and it was my first time in a mine. There was all kinds of activities, some people were reading and others were playing pool. The air in these mines is known for helping people breath better. It feels fresh. This was an interesting place. Our trip continued with Sibiu, Sighisoara, Ighiu and Deva. We made a lot of stops and walked around to see the small towns as well as the bigger ones. The roads we took were beautiful. Classy Romania gave us good advice on where to go. I feel that we were able to understand the culture and feel at home.
The hotels suggested were all cozy and clean. Our favorite place was Casa Saseasca in Sighisoara. It was a romantic little hotel in the citadel of Sighisoara. It was well situated because it was close to everything.
Generally, I loved the food in Romania. It was tasty and the prices were decent. I would go back just for the food ! 😀
Madalina was very nice and we became friends. She made us feel comfortable in Romania. I felt like we were citizens and not just tourists. I really enjoyed our vacation and I definitely want to go back.
Thank you for your help, it was really appreciated. I’m really glad we met.
